SOM students take part in the 2026 Thailand-China Sustainable Construction Dialogue

On a Tuesday afternoon, August 18, SOM students participated in the “Digital Innovation for Future Construction” conference which is part of the 2026 Thailand- China Sustainable Construction Dialogue.
The event was organized by AIT's corporate partner China State Construction Thailand (https://csci.cscec.com/en/). The event attracted young aspiring students who are interested in ESG, digital innovation, youth leadership, and other relevant topics, and who would like to engage with industries and companies in the Thailand market.
The event brought together senior representatives from leading Thai and Chinese companies to share their perspectives on digital innovation, sustainable construction, and future business development. Executive Director of Office of Development and External Affairs (ODEA), Mr. Shawn P. Kelly, gave a few remarks at the event and an AIT Alumnus from (previously known as) SET, Mr. Sompote Youwai, also shared his professional insights, particularly on ESG and sustainability reporting. The event offered an excellent opportunity for SOM students to learn about emerging industry trends, engage with corporate leaders, and expand their professional network.
