About the Colloquium

The AIT School of Management Doctoral Colloquium 2026 provides a vibrant platform for doctoral researchers, early-career academics, and emerging scholars to present their research, receive developmental feedback, engage with experienced faculty, and build international research networks.


As artificial intelligence increasingly reshapes organizations, markets, work, and society, researchers face new opportunities and challenges. The colloquium invites participants to critically examine how AI is transforming business research, strategy, innovation, decision-making, and human behavior while exploring its broader implications for organizations and society.

 

The colloquium welcomes participants at all stages of their doctoral journey, from early- stage proposal development to advanced dissertation research.

Artificial intelligence is no longer a future possibility—it is becoming an integral part of how individuals live, organizations operate, and societies function. From consumer interactions and organizational decision-making to innovation, sustainability, and public policy, AI is fundamentally reshaping the business landscape.

 

This doctoral colloquium explores how management researchers can contribute to understanding, navigating, and shaping this transformation. We invite submissions that examine both the opportunities and challenges associated with living and working alongside AI, while advancing rigorous and impactful research across business disciplines.

Submission Guidelines

Submission Categories

Research Proposal
For students in the early stages of their doctoral journey seeking feedback on research questions, theoretical foundations, and research design.

Research in Progress

For ongoing doctoral research, including data collection, analysis, and preliminary findings.

Completed Research
For mature or completed studies with theoretical, methodological, or practical contributions.

Doctoral Poster Showcase
For early-stage ideas, conceptual frameworks, dissertation proposals, and emerging research projects.

  • Submission Opens:  1 June 2026 (already Open)

  • Submission Deadline: 26 July 2026

  • Notification of Acceptance 30 August 2026

  • Revised Submission Deadline: 20 September 2026

  • Registration Deadline: 27 September 2026

  • Doctoral Colloquium:  3–4 October 2026

The colloquium is open to:

  • DBA students

  • PhD students

  • Early-career researchers

  • Academic practitioners

  • Research master’s students considering doctoral studies

Participants from AIT and other universities worldwide are welcome.

Accepted submissions will be published in the official Doctoral Colloquium Proceedings with an ISBN, DOI, and open-access online publication. Outstanding papers may also be recommended for further development toward conference presentations or journal publication.
