The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) School of Management successfully organized a two-day Corporate Finance Boot Camp on 17–18 October 2026, led by our faculty Dr. Joseph French, bringing together 76 registered students through in-person and hybrid participation. The intensive learning experience aimed to strengthen students' financial knowledge, analytical skills, and ability to make informed business decisions.
Over the two full days, students explored key principles of corporate finance, including the time value of money, cash flow analysis, investment evaluation, capital budgeting, and the relationship between risk and return. These fundamental concepts help students understand how businesses assess investment opportunities, allocate financial resources, and make decisions that support long-term growth.
The boot camp also emphasized the practical application of financial concepts through calculations, problem-solving, and analytical exercises. Students developed a stronger understanding of how financial information can be used to evaluate business opportunities, compare investment alternatives, and support sound financial decision-making.
The hybrid learning format provided opportunities for students to participate both on campus and remotely, supporting an inclusive learning environment for students with different schedules and circumstances.
Beyond strengthening technical knowledge, the two-day boot camp encouraged critical thinking and confidence in applying financial principles to real-world business challenges.

The initiative reflects AIT School of Management's continued commitment to providing practical, engaging, and industry-relevant learning experiences that equip students with essential skills for future leadership and management roles.
