SOM Guest Speaker Session: Sanphot Thiewprasertkul shares his experience at AIS

On July 22, as part of our SOM Guest Speaker series, we hosted Mr. Sanphot Thiewprasertkul, Senior Product Manager of Advance Info Services, Plc (AIS). He is one of our recent alumni who shared his experiences navigating the telecommunication industry. His presentation gave insight into how it is to be a product manager in a corporate environment, and he explained that his job oversees innovative products through Research, Design, Build and Market.
His topic, "Challenges for New Business Opportunities in the Telecom Industry" covered the subscription-based services from AIS and how revenue is continually looking for new streams of income to stay competitive in the industry. He also shared his experience as an AIT student and how that has helped him understand the world of Finance and given him new ways of looking at concepts in the world of business.
