PM-ESG2 HCM Expands ESG Learning at AIT-SOM Thailand

The Professional Master’s in ESG (PM-ESG2) Batch 2 from HCMC successfully completed its international study week at the AIT-SOM Thailand from 22–26 September, with an emphasis on Community Investment and Development.

The students explored how businesses can create long-term sustainable value through strategic community engagement. Guided by Dr. Rich Brubaker and Ms. Ly Van, the module blended academic depth with practical applications, equipping participants with essential tools to address ESG challenges in real-world contexts.

The program also featured company visits to Indorama Ventures Nakhom Pathom and the Indorama Head Office in Bangkok, with Dr. Faiz Shah leading the tour. He walked the students through real-world examples of how corporations bring ESG principles to life in their operations and community initiatives, turning theory into meaningful practice.

This immersion was one of the key milestones in the PM-ESG program, offering participants valuable perspectives, professional exposure, and practical experiences that strengthen their expertise in sustainability and corporate responsibility.
