Indian Institute of Foreign Trade faculty and students visit AIT SOM

On the morning of October 16, SOM was visited by a delegation of faculty and students from the prestigious Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). After a brief introduction of SOM, Mr. Sam Hanna gave a lecture about his experience at Shell and the lessons learned about global trade and logistics. This was followed by Dr. Tuheena Mukherjee, Faculty of Cross-Cultural Management and Global Communication in International Negotiations, and her brief presentation about their
university. Two student teams from IIFT also gave a presentation on Thai-Indian business relations based on trade and cultural data and were able to identify key industries to focus on for potential and successful trade relations.
