The School of Management at AIT is proud to announce that three student teams, under the supervision of Dr. Sundar Venkatesh and Dr. Joseph J. French, will represent AIT in the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2025/26 – Thailand. This prestigious global competition invites the brightest finance students to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world investment research, analysis, and presentation.

Meet Our Teams

AIT will proudly be represented by teams from three academic programs:

  • MBA Team: Diyani Maduwanthi Perera, Ritika Dey, Divyansh Tripathi, Anchal Pandey, and Saran Chottanaporn

  • International Finance (IF) Team: Nyein Thinzar Zaw, Yoon May Lwin, Khun Aung Kyaw Htoo, Rachapol Dechawaranont, and Nattapong Mekarporn

  • Business Analytics and Digital Transformation (BADT) Team: Swastika Shrestha, Kushi Goyal, Sushant Joshi, Pranav Khanal, and Phumiphat Thongsamer

Each team is gearing up to showcase AIT’s analytical excellence, collaborative spirit, and global mindset on this prestigious stage.

A Platform for Learning and Leadership

The CFA Institute Research Challenge isn’t just a competition — it’s a transformative journey that empowers students to analyze companies, value stocks, and present research reports to finance industry leaders. This year, AIT stands ready to make its mark and gain well-deserved recognition for its talent and preparation.

One of our student participants shared, “This competition is an incredible opportunity to put theory into practice — to think, analyze, and communicate like real-world financial professionals. I’m grateful for the mentorship and support from our professors and the university.”

Hands-On Learning: Bloomberg Training at SET

As part of the preparation, the teams recently visited the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) for an exclusive Bloomberg training session. The experience offered students a firsthand look at the power of data-driven investment tools.

“Gaining hands-on exposure to Bloomberg’s analytical platform was truly eye-opening,” shared one team member. “It deepened my enthusiasm for finance and investment analytics, showing just how impactful real-time data can be in decision-making.”

AIT’s Journey Ahead

With determination, teamwork, and expert guidance, AIT’s students are ready to take on this global stage — demonstrating not only their technical knowledge but also their creativity, professionalism, and leadership.

Stay tuned for updates as our teams represent AIT with pride in the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2025/26. Let’s cheer them on as they take one more step toward making AIT’s name shine in the world of finance!
