Rematch: SSA hosts 2nd Annual Basketball Tournament

The annual MBA vs BADT/IF: Clash of the Court basketball match, organized by our new cohort of SSA members, turned out to be an exhilarating event that brought energy, excitement, and camaraderie to the SOM community. Held on the 8th of October 2025, the basketball court near 7/11 at AIT’s main campus was filled with cheers, team spirit, and enthusiasm from both players and supporters. The game lived up to its hype as both teams showcased great skill and sportsmanship, keeping the crowd on edge until the final whistle. In the end, the MBA team defended their championship title with a solid 38–28 victory, marking another memorable evening of athletic excellence and unity.

Following the thrilling match, both teams came together for a friendly dinner, which added a warm and personal touch to the evening. This post-match gathering allowed players and supporters to unwind, share laughs, and connect beyond the competition. Conversations flowed easily as members from both sides got to know each other better, breaking the ice and building new friendships. The dinner beautifully captured the essence of what sports truly represent at SOM - not just competition, but connection. It helped everyone feel more integrated and part of one big SOM family, reinforcing the idea that such events strengthen bonds, foster collaboration, and make our community stronger and more united.
