Guest Speaker Session: Ms. Cherilyn from Odoo HK

On Wednesday, September 23, we held our online monthly SOM Guest Speaker session featuring Ms. Cherilyn Low, Talent Acquisition Officer (APAC), Campus Recruitment, Odoo HK.
Her presentation, "Entitled & Unleash your Potential” first started with background information about her company, Odoo which is an All-in- One Business Management Software company founded in 2005 in Belgium. Since then, Odoo has expanded to 21 offices around the world and continues to expand today. She also mentioned key highlights in the progression and growth of Odoo.
Ms. Cherilyn gave additional insights into the working culture of her company and what are the values that every employee experiences in their offices. She also shared her experience of what it was like moving from her home country of Singapore to Hong Kong and what should be expected when living there. After students’ questions were answered in the QnA component of the session, we were all left with a deeper understanding and appreciation of Odoo.
