The School of Management (SOM) at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) successfully concluded a customized executive development program for 23 senior executives from the RMA Group, marking the completion of the RMA Executive Acceleration Program (REAP). Designed and delivered over a period spanning July 2023 to September 2024, the comprehensive program consisted of eight co-created modules, including Digital Transformation, Agility, Sustainability, Financial Analysis, Scenario Planning, and Risk Management. The program was tailored to equip RMA's senior leadership with cutting-edge management knowledge and strategic tools essential in today's fast-evolving business landscape.
On Friday, 21 March 2025, AIT SOM representatives were honored to be invited to the official closing and certificate handover ceremony hosted by the RMA Group. Mr. Sam Hanna, Director of Business and Corporate Development at AIT SOM, along with Dr. Nabeel Bokhari, Program Specialist, attended the event on behalf of Prof. Yuosre Badir, Dean of the School of Management. During the ceremony, the executives were awarded certificates titled "Leading Digital and Business Strategy", recognizing their successful completion of the eight-module leadership program and their commitment to personal and professional advancement.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. Kevin Whitcraft, Chief Executive Officer of RMA Group, who expressed his appreciation for the program and commended the collaboration efforts of AIT SOM in delivering a high-impact learning experience. Senior leaders from RMA Group including Mr. Stuart Daniels, Vice President for Human Resources, and Mr. David Giang, General Manager for Talent Acquisition, also attended the event, reinforcing the Group's commitment to continuous executive Development.
Both the participants and RMA's leadership expressed high levels of satisfaction with the structure, content, and delivery of the program. They particularly acknowledged the professionalism and academic rigor demonstrated by AIT's faculty and support teams throughout the duration of the initiative. Discussions during the ceremony reflected a mutual interest in strengthening ties and exploring further avenues for collaboration between the two organizations.
The successful conclusion of the REAP program and the awarding of the "Leading Digital and Business Strategy" certificates is yet another testament to AIT SOM's mission of developing impactful leadership through industry-relevant and future-ready executive education.
