The AIT School of Management (SOM) successfully conducted an intensive one-day training program on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) for over 50 executives from Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited (BCP) on February 17, 2025. Held at their premises, the program was designed to equip industry professionals with essential knowledge and practical tools to navigate the complexities of M&A in the evolving energy sector. The course covered critical topics such as the strategic rationale for M&A, valuation techniques, financing structures, due diligence, and post-merger integration. Additionally, participants explored the latest trends, including decarbonization, renewable energy, and ESG considerations in M&A transactions.

Led by SOM's Adjunct Faculty Mr. Andrew Macintosh and co-facilitated by Mr. Chroong Kanjchanapoomi, with extensive experience in the field of energy investments, the program provided executives with hands-on learning through real-world case studies and interactive discussions. Participants gained insights into different types of M&A deals, risk management strategies, and methods for assessing synergies and value creation. The training not only enhanced their understanding of energy M&A dynamics but also offered a practical framework for executing successful transactions. The session reinforced AIT's commitment to executive education by fostering industry-relevant skills and strategic decision-making capabilities among corporate leaders.
