Pan-Asian Business School Network is a new initiative jointly launched by business schools across Asia in March 2024, including the Graduate School of Leadership and Innovation, Shizenkan University.
This year, Shizenkan University are inviting Asian Business students to join the Japan Trip, a five-day trip, as part of the Pan-Asian Business School Network initiative. It will start on Monday June 30 - Friday July 4, 2025.
This trip’s purpose is to provide students from various business schools in Asia with opportunities to deepen their understanding of Japanese business practices, leadership, and underlying culture and societal traditions.
During this trip, various theme-related site visits and group-based activities are planned between Kyoto and Tokyo where participants will experience Japanese society and culture and learn about the Japanese economy and business leadership. They will also have a chance to network with Japan’s business and societal leaders from Japan and across Asia. Students from different parts of Asia will participate in this opportunity to learn together with peers from various societal and cultural backgrounds, exchange their views and develop greater understanding from their exposure to Japan.
Zona Zoman, a recent SOM Alumni and participant from last year’s Japan’s trip said,
“First of all, this is a very immersive experience and you get so many people to connect and network with and you get first-hand account of how Japanese businesses are running their companies and what is their motivation and their strategy. So, you get that face-to-face interaction and learn from real people so that is really interesting.” Check out other participant's feedback in the Youtube video above.
If you would like to participate in the Japan Trip 2025, please email Dennes (dbjr @ ait.asia) by the deadline March 31, 2025. *Please be aware that there are personal costs involved and participants will need to find their own transportation and lodging for the entire trip.
