The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, and the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV), India, have formally entered into a strategic partnership aimed at expanding executive education and joint research in Aisa. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 15 October 2025, establishing a collaborative framework to co-create impactful programs and foster knowledge-driven development in areas such as management, sustainability, and technology. The partnership encompasses joint professional cortication courses, executive doctoral exchange programs, co-supervision of doctoral students, and collaborative research projects. Additionally, both institutions will organize conferences, webinars, and academic events to facilitate cross-border knowledge sharing.

Prof. Siddharth K. Jabade, AIT’s Vice President for Administration and Development, highlighted the partnership as a bridge between Thailand and India that promotes faculty and student mobility and regional research impact. Dr. Amit Shankar, Dean of Research at IIMV, emphasized the value of creating diverse academic experiences and global perspectives through meaning collaboration. Prof. Yuosre Badir, Dean of AIT’s School of Management (SOM), noted that this alliance opens new pathways for academia-industry collaboration, blending academic rigor with practical insights to deliver transformative learning across the region.
This partnership marks a pivotal step forward for AIT SOM, strengthening its international network and reinforcing its mission to provide cutting-edge executive education and research that addresses the dynamic needs of Asia’s future.
