The School of Management (SOM) played a part in the recent AIT Roadshow in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, held on 7–8 November 2025. Led by Dr. Kamonkanok (Kamille) Kiatisakchai, Assistant Dean and MBA Director, SOM helped showcase AIT’s academic strengths while highlighting the School’s leadership in sustainability-driven management education. The visit formed part of AIT’s broader strategy to enhance visibility in Vietnam, engage with partner universities, and attract promising applicants for Master’s and PhD programs.

The first day of the mission featured an institutional visit to Van Lang University (VLU), where AIT delegates delivered an interactive information session to more than 90 students from various fields. SOM contributed significantly by presenting pathways within the MBA and MSc programs, emphasizing SOM’s international learning environment, strong industry connections, and commitment to developing responsible leaders. The lively engagement with VLU students demonstrated a clear interest in pursuing graduate studies in management, while discussions with faculty opened opportunities for academic cooperation, graduate pipelines, and potential joint initiatives in the future.
The main AIT Roadshow took place on 8 November at the Hotel Grand Saigon, attracting over 30 prospective students from more than 100 registrations. As part of the “Expert Talks” segment, Dr. Kamille delivered an impactful session titled “ESG Leadership Mindset for Sustainable Leaders.” Her presentation explored the growing relevance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in contemporary leadership and business practice, particularly within emerging Asian markets such as Vietnam. She discussed how sustainable leadership is now essential for organizational resilience, long-term value creation, and ethical decision-making, and illustrated how SOM integrates ESG frameworks into its curriculum to prepare graduates for global management challenges. Her talk generated strong interest from attendees, many of whom engaged further during the breakout consultations to learn more about SOM’s programs, its leadership philosophy, and opportunities to specialize in sustainability-driven management.
The Roadshow also provided an important platform for strengthening the SOM network in Vietnam. Esteemed AIT alumni shared inspiring career stories, reflecting on how their education had advanced their professional trajectories and international opportunities. SOM played an active role throughout the networking and one-on-one consultation sessions, interacting with prospective MBA candidates and offering guidance on academic pathways, scholarships, internships, and the application process. This engagement not only deepened SOM’s presence in Vietnam but also reaffirmed the School’s reputation as a center for excellence in leadership, innovation, and sustainable management.
Overall, the 2 days mission significantly advanced SOM’s strategic objectives in the region. The events strengthened SOM’s visibility among Vietnamese students, reinforced relationships with partner universities, and contributed to developing a strong recruitment pipeline for high-quality candidates. Most importantly, the Roadshow showcased the School’s commitment to shaping leaders who embody the principles of sustainability, responsibility, and global readiness. With growing interest from Vietnam and expanding institutional connections, SOM is well positioned to continue building long-term partnerships and cultivating future leaders who will contribute to sustainable development across Asia.
