On July 25th, students participated in an engaging session hosted by Bosch, focused on Connected Services. The event introduced participants to Bosch’s innovative products in areas such as smart vehicle monitoring and EVs health tracker offering a practical look at how technology is reshaping the mobility landscape.
The session opened with an interactive quiz that helped students get to know Bosch as a brand. This was followed with a brief presentation about its products.
A core highlight was an in-depth presentation on Bosch’s Connected Services. Students explored advanced tools designed to help EV users track battery usage, optimize performance, and enhance safety through smart systems and product which detects collisions and notifies the user in real time.
To apply their insights, students were grouped into teams and challenged to develop Business Model Canvases (BMCs) tailored to different customer segments in different industries such as Healthcare and Hospitality. Each team presented their ideas to Bosch representatives. This allowed participants to gain knowledge on where the products could be implemented. Participants received constructive feedback focused on business strategy, innovation, and product-market fit from Bosch representatives.
The session concluded with an open networking opportunity, where students had the chance to speak directly with Bosch employees from departments like Human Resources and Purchasing. These conversations offered valuable insights into Bosch’s work culture, business function and career pathways.
Overall, the session provided a well-rounded introduction to Bosch’s Connected Services while helping students bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application, highlighting Bosch’s continued investment in innovation.
