On January 22, the SOM Student Ambassadors (SSA) started the new semester with the SOM Welcome Party. It was held at the newly established cafe, Tan90 (formerly Sara's Corner) and the event was filled with food, fun and even spontaneous karaoke singing and dancing.
There were three main missions that night. The first was to welcome our fresh and new students of our January intake 2025 and create an opportunity for them to mingle with the veteran students in a relaxed social setting.
The second mission was to advertise the activities of the SSA and to encourage students, new and old, to join the team for the new semester and create similar activities and events..
The last mission was to support our very own SOM student, Mr. Abhishek Hulloli, who is the new managing director of Tan90. All food and snacks were prepared by him and his F&B team and fully sponsored by the SSA. The Welcome Party was a great way to start the year and we also wish Abhishek the best in his new endeavor.
