Alain Berger is a professor of finance and accounting with different business schools and private universities around Geneva, Switzerland. Before turning to academics in 2010, Alain worked for more than 15 years with different multinational firms in the fields of audit, financial analysis, corporate finance and investment finance. He was also involved with consulting projects related to financial modeling and market behavior.

Academically, Alain received a bachelor in business administration and a master in international management from University of Lausanne, Switzerland, as well as a master in science of management from Arthur D. Little School of Management (currently Hult International Business School) in Boston, USA. He also obtained a doctorate in business administration from Grenoble Ecole de Management, France, in 2017. His research interests are finance, corporate governance, sustainability, diversity and financial markets behavior.

Alain is a CFA Charterholder and a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe). While not at work, he enjoys traveling, hiking and skiing.
